Yes, in the current heatwave your conservatory becomes unusable. The sun beating down on the glass or polycarb roof heats it up like an oven. Below is a solution we recently installed for one of our customers. The polycarb roof was removed and replaced with a fully insulated tile effect roof which has transformed the conservatory. As well as looking very smart it means the conservatory can be used in the summer months because its’ not unbearably warm, and in the winter it is used much ore because it no longer gets freezing in cold snaps.
